MAN

How was your day?

GIRL

Good.

MAN

Now was it a good day or a great day?

GIRL

Great.

MAN

                    (MAN scoops GIRL up and holds her in his arms.)

When someone asks you how your day was – and it was a great day – tell them that. Okay?

GIRL

Okay.

MAN

All right, then. Let’s try it again. . .

So how was your day?

GIRL

AWESOME!

  1. A mother was concerned that her little son claimed that when he prays at night he sees Jesus in person. She brought him to the parish priest and explained the situation to him. The priest questioned the boy and then said, “Son, the next time you see Jesus ask him what I confessed last week in the sacrament of confession.” The boy agreed and the following week he returned to the priest acknowledging that Jesus appeared to him again. Priest, “Did you ask him what I confessed?” The young boy said, “Yes, Father.” Priest, “What did He say?” The boy answered, “He said, ‘I forgot.’
